A pirate costume for Halloween can be made using a dress shirt with cut-off sleeves, knee-length knickers, a simple sash and a great three-pointed hat. Put together simple pieces of clothing to look like a pirate with helpful tips from a costume designer in this free video on Halloween ideas.

I have wings wand and tutu and tink necklace!! What else?
Many thanks!

I was Tink for Halloween one year. Here is what I had besides the dress and the things you already listed:

1. Belt- I took a long piece of thick green ribbon and tied it around my waist as a cute belt with a floppy bow.

2. Hair ribbons- I put my hair up in a bun and again took green ribbon (Believe me- my whole outfit WASN’T green ribbon, I promise!). This time a thin piece. I tied one piece in a tight bow right over my hair band, and the other hanging down a little bit

3. Yellow and green sparkly bangles

4. Some pretty "Tink type" makeup. I drew a heart on my cheek with face paint, ( You can buy watercolor pastels at any art store, get them wet, and it works) I had sparkly lip gloss, and green eyeshadow.

I hope I helped!! It sounds like a cute costume! Good-luck, Tink!

pirate costume I got for last Halloween. The shirt, skirt and belt were bought as a set from a Halloween costume store, but the rest were bought separately from another Halloween costume store and Walmart.

NOTHING here is handmade by me except glue-gunning the gold frills on the pirate hate.

Yeah I wear glasses. I’d be blind if I don’t have them on.

This was taken after last Halloween (as you can tell by when I post this video)

Note: Nothing is intended here except to show my costume. That was what I wear for last Halloween so there it is.
