Many online stores sell kids Halloween costumes. To name a few they sell children’s, toddler, baby, girls and boys Halloween costumes.

While selecting a costume for kid, do consider child’s preference. Choose such type of costume which your child is comfortable wearing it. He/she should be comfortable walking up and down the streets.. If he/she hates wearing hats, don’t choose a costume which has a hat. Some youngsters have sensitive skin and cannot tolerate itches, so the best thing would be to avoid scratchy fabrics or costumes with Velcro closures.

While choosing a kids costume, remember two things in mind; child’s desires and your budget. Most of the children want to dress up as doctors, pirates, nurses, fireman, policemen, astronauts, animals etc. Choose a costume for your kid which the child likes and also fits in your budget.

Find out whether you want to buy or rent the costume. If you’re talented you can stitch your costume. You can find different costume patterns from a fabric store or online. If you’re creative you can make a beautiful costume from basic stuff like t-shirt and other items.

Child safety should be given utmost importance while buying a costume. If the costume requires a mask, see to it that the kid can see clearly through the eyeholes of the mask and it is not too tight. See to it that your shoes are properly tied and fitted so that your child does not fall.

Some of the favorite boys Halloween costumes are superman, spider man, Harry potter, Power rangers, Pirate, Ninja, cowboy or knight. Some of the famous girls costumes are Princess Fiona, Snow white, Pocahontas, Little Mermaid, Princess or Bride, Fairy, Witch, cheerleader etc.

Many online stores sell children’s Pirate costumes. Some of the famous costumes are Disney, superhero, princess etc. Pirate costume for a boy or girl will include pants and a white shirt, a hat, a belt and also shoe covers. Sometimes girls pirate costumes for girls may be a skirt or dress instead of pants and shirts. Some of the adult’s pirate costumes are Captain Jack sparrow, Davy Jones, Long John Silver, Jolly Roger or Mascot. Men generally wear pants that are black, tan or brown with black and white shirt with open-necked, large sleeved style and a vest or jacket. Boots that have turned down top cuffs gives an authentic pirate look. A hat and large belt complete the basic costume.

Many people would have watched the famous movie pirates of the Caribbean. Some of the famous men’s pirates of the Caribbean costumes are Captain Barbossa, Commodore Norrington, Davy Jones, Will Turner etc. Some of the famous women characters are Elizabeth Swann, Tia Dalma, Giselle, Anamaria etc. Adults love to wear character costumes at the Halloween night.

I have to be a Barbie for the school theme this year and I was thinking like the Fairytopia or Mariposa thing. The closest thing that I found was the tinkerbell costume at Party City. I need a pink costume, so if anyone knows where to find one tell me

hmm…you could like…create a fairy costume.
like…get a pink tutu and a low-cut pink top.
then some plain fairy wings or some pink ones.
then with some flats or ballerina slippers.

Kids costumes get ever cooler and so much more advanced as time passes by. Long gone are the days of the lonely hobo with his eye-liner five o’clock shadow, carrying his worldly possessions in a kerchief on the end of a stick. These days, kids costumes can be more and more creative and glamorous. While there are still plenty of options for do-it-yourself kids costumes, there are tons of great premade items available, too. So, what are the coolest kids costumes? Check out these ideas.

Disney kids costumes: It used to be that being a princess for Halloween meant putting on one of Mommy’s fancy dresses and buying a tiara. When today’s girl says she wants to be a princess, the response is likely to be “which one?” Of course there are tons of Disney princess costumes for sale. Your little princess can be Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella, or Snow White. Little boys might be more interested in dressing up as Aladdin (or even the genie), Peter Pan, Pinocchio, or Prince Charming. Don’t forget about favorite Pixar characters like Shrek, Fiona, and the crew from Monsters Inc.

Star Wars kids costumes: Sure there are a ton of Disney princesses, but there’s only one Princess Leia. From the white gown to the cinnamon bun hair, Princess Leia is one lady who never goes out of fashion. Of course, Queen Amidala offers a ton of costume options of her own. For your good little boys, there are Obi-Won Kenobi and Luke Skywalker costumes. If your kiddo has a bit more of a “dark side,” though, consider dressing him up as Darth Vader or even a Storm Trooper. Don’t forget the cute factor that comes from dressing the littlest ones up as Yoda or R2-D2, either.

Television character kids costumes: There are few parents of “tweens” who don’t have some familiarity with Hannah Montana. The young ladies just love this singing, acting diva with the ever-changing hair. For a little more seventies’ flair, how about dressing her up as Daphne from Scooby Doo? Of course, you don’t want to forget the boys who would be adorable as either Fred or Shaggy. Can’t you just picture that scraggly little goatee? Of course, there’s always the Sesame Street influence to consider. What little one doesn’t act just a bit like Cookie Monster on Halloween, anyway? Why not dress him or her up to match the insanity that comes from that much sugar in one night?

Animal kids costumes: The kids costumes available today are incredibly detailed, and this really shows in some of the animal-inspired costumes. Pairing a yellow tulle skirt with a striped shirt and a pair of wings makes an adorable baby bee. Swap out the yellow and stripes for red and dots, and now you’ve got the cutest little lady bug around. Imaginary animals are a whole lot of fun, too. Your kiddos can transform into the Cat in the Hat, Winnie the Pooh, and even a Care Bear. Some of the best animal costumes, though, are those that are completely unexpected. Keep your trick-or-treater warm by dressing him up as a penguin or swaddle your infant in a wiggle-worm costume.

Scary kids costumes: If ghosts and ghouls are more your taste in kids costumes, then you won’t be disappointed in the variety that is out there today. Your little guy can become a pretty realistic vampire, complete with cape and fangs. Your sweet little girl might step out of her ordinary good girl role to portray a wicked witch for the day. Zombies, skeletons, and werewolves all fit nicely into this category. There is no shortage of options for adding a spooky touch to kids costumes this Halloween.

i am on the tan side of skin color and i know that there is a black disney fairy. i wanted to know her name and if they have a costume for her.

Her name is Iridessa.

Here’s a website as to who the fairies are and what they look like:

http://disney.go.com/fairies/fairies/fairies.html

Yes, they do have a costume of her. Just look around. I would suggest to look online, but that is just me. If you can’t find one, just make your own out of the stufff you could find.

Good Luck!
